Why the name Legacy?
Many times when famous people pass on from this earth, the question is asked: what was his or her legacy? The question then comes to mind, what would the world, our family, co-workers, church friends, spouse or children say about us? What would be inscribed on your tombstone? What would your life stand for? What would people remember you for?
What is Legacy? Legacy is organizing the way you live your life so that you will be living a life that blesses other people and making an impact for generations to come. Its taking the responsibility to ensure that your relationship and resources will outlive and outlast your time here on earth. Its a ripple effect.
How you live and build your legacy and what you leave behind will determine the true worth of your life! Legacy is not just about what you have become, nor is it just about what you leave behind. Its about facing God and telling Him what you have done with what He has entrusted to you!
God has something special for each of our lives. He created us and has a unique purpose for every person. Here at Legacy we desire for people to discover the love of Jesus; allow Him to mend broken lives, build us up by discovering His plan and purpose for our lives and in turn reach out to others and give them hope.

We can live a legacy now, but someday when we are long gone from this earth, people will not be concerned about the money we made, nor the college degrees we have earned. Instead, people will ask what kind of person were we.
With God, our lives will be fulfilled, and through Him, we will have made a difference. It will be a quality of life that is devoted to God living day by day for Him. The important question is, what will God say about my life?

Leadership Team:
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
Purpose, Vision & Core Values
Our Purpose:
Loving God: Jesus made it clear that the first and greatest commandment in scripture is to love God with all your heart (Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew 22:37). We want to inspire and move people toward life lived in a very real, loving relationship with a very real God. Loving God is at the center of everything we do.
Loving Others: Come As You Are: Everybody is welcome here. We want to provide a safe place for people to experience grace and truth in a way that we experience Gods love for us. (Matthew 22:39)
Serving the World: We believe that everyone has unique spiritual gifts that God gave us to serve one another and build His Church. A significant part of growth and becoming who He made us to be happens when we choose to serve others using those gifts. The Church is only able to do what were supposed to do when everyone does what they were created to do (I Corinthians 12, Romans 12:3-8).

Our Core Values:
1) Every person has the right to know and recieve the love of Jesus (Gospel) at his or her level of understanding. (John 3:16)
2) Every person has the right to heal and grow through prayer and fellowship among other believers. (Luke 4:18-19, I John 4:11-12, John 4:23-24)
3) Every believer has unique gifts to be developed and used to strengthen the church. (Romans 12, Ephesians 4:11-13, Mark 10:42-44)
4) Every Believer has a purpose in advancing the global mission of the church of Jesus Christ. (Mark 16:15-16, Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8, John 4:35-38)

Pastor Chris Annas, Lead Pastor
As the primary teaching pastor, Pastor Chris has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. He and his wife Dawn have two children. Pastor Chris also is the Executive Presbyter of the district. Pastor Chris is passionate about showing Gods love to all no matter who they are.
Pastor Sean Brockway, Student Ministries & Associate Pastor
Pastor Sean's main responsibility is teaching the youth and assisting Pastor Chris. Pastor Sean, Michelle and their two boys love working with and teaching teenagers.
Pastor Tammy Reulman, Children's Ministries & Kid's Korner Director
Pastor Tammy's love for God and children has shined a light in this area of Legacy. Pastor Tammy is also our preschool director of Kid's Korner on Kooser Rd. in San Jose.
Pastor Frank Velasquez, Seniors Pastor
Pastor Frank leads our 55+ group and encourages them through activities that foster spiritual growth and health, evangelistic outreach, and fellowship events. Pastor Franks wife, Gloria is also our church Nursery Director and a teacher at our preschool.
